1Submit the Volunteer Sign-Up Form
Tell us about yourself and the roles that interest you. Submitting the form does not mean you are immediately approved to serve.
Complete the Volunteer Sign-Up Form2We Review Your Information
Hometown Outreach reviews your form and conducts a brief local background check. We contact you when the review is complete or if more information is needed.
3Complete Your Volunteer Paperwork
If approved, you receive the Volunteer Handbook, required agreements, step-by-step instructions, and a list of role-specific documents. Drivers provide proof of insurance and a copy of a valid license.
4Get Connected and Prepare to Serve
After paperwork is complete, you join the Facebook Volunteer Hub or receive text/phone contact. We register you for applicable training for your chosen role or roles and tell you when you are ready to respond to opportunities.
